Transformation Ministry Team (TMT)
The role of a Transformation Ministry Team is, in collaboration, to design and manage a
presbytery strategy for congregational transformation. This means guiding the Presbytery of Wabash Valley to
achieve this strategy and goals as refined and established by the Presbytery and its Council.
Responsibilities
The Transformation Ministry Team is responsible for guiding and directing the process in such a way that will ensure broad participation, awareness and learning. It sets the stage for equipping and supporting missional transformation across the Presbytery and its congregations into the future.
- Design the details of the Presbytery Strategy for congregational transformation in collaboration
with the Presbytery Council, the consultant from the Center for Parish Development and Presbytery members.
- Guide the Presbytery of Wabash Valley through implementation of a Presbytery Strategy for
congregational transformation, including:
- Identify and enlist congregations, clusters, and coaches.
- Assure quality training and support for congregations, leaders, and coaches in the process.
- Provide clear and timely communication for all aspects of the strategy with all target participant groups.
- Monitor time, quality, and money, to make adjustments along the way to ensure its success.
- Report regularly to the Presbytery Council.
- Provide for maximum participation in the entire process.
